What is Telehealth?
Telehealth allows you to easily connect with a GP or other Healthcare Professional over the telephone or video-conference for a consultation. You can now access and book a Telehealth consult from wherever you are.
Who can access Telehealth?
To be eligible for bulk billed Telehealth you must have been seen at the centre in person within the last 12 months or be under 12months old, homeless or in quarantine due to COVID symptoms. You also require a valid Medicare or DVA card.
How do I book a Telehealth appointment?
To book an appointment you can either:
- Download the HaloGP app
- Visit our online booking, select your GP and select “Telehealth”
- Call the centre
At the time of your appointment, your doctor will call you and consult with you over the phone.
